Welcome

I’m glad you’re here.

My name is Mathilde Morel Mesgard, and I’m an osteopath based in Vancouver, BC, offering personalized one-on-one treatments focused on identifying the root cause of your pain through a gentle and holistic approach that supports long-term well-being.

My goal is to help you relieve pain, improve mobility, and reconnect with your body’s natural balance through osteopathy.

A journey rooted in healing

My path to osteopathy wasn’t a straight line, it was shaped by personal experience and transformation.

At 18, when asked what I wanted to do with my life, my heart already knew the answer. I wanted to combine my passion for skiing — as an instructor — with a career in osteopathy. Life initially led me in another direction, into the world of sales and the outdoor sports industry, but that original intention stayed with me.

Everything changed after a personal health challenge.

Following a sudden episode of intense abdominal pain, I was diagnosed with a 12 cm ovarian cyst. Surgery was necessary, and what was expected to be a simple laparoscopy became a full abdominal operation resulting in the removal of one ovary.

This experience became a turning point.

It led me to ask deeper questions about my body and my health. Through conversations with my family and further research, I discovered vanishing twin syndrome, something that finally brought clarity to many feelings I had carried since childhood.

This realization created a profound inner shift and led me to reflect on my purpose and direction

in life.

At 26, I made the decision to leave my corporate career, move back in with my mom, and return to school full-time to study osteopathy, a five-year commitment that I embraced wholeheartedly.

Alongside my studies, I had always dreamed of living abroad and discovering new cultures.

After graduating in June 2023 from CEESO Lyon, one of Europe’s leading osteopathy schools, I spent a few months practicing in the Lyon area before moving to Vancouver, British Columbia, where I now provide personalized osteopathic care.

Since arriving in Vancouver, I’ve fully embraced this new chapter of my life, surrounded by nature, mountains, and a diverse international community. I feel deeply grateful to support my patients in their own healing journeys through osteopathy.

Outside the clinic

Outside my osteopathy practice in Vancouver, I stay active through hiking, skiing, yoga, and climbing.

Movement has always been an important part of my life, and it continues to shape the way I support my patients today.

I also value human connection deeply and bring empathy, presence, and attention to every session.
