WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY?

Gentle manual therapy in Vancouver

Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on manual therapy that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance, mobility, and function.

Based on a holistic understanding of the human body, osteopathy considers that all systems are interconnected. When mobility is reduced in one area, it can affect posture, circulation, digestion, or the nervous system and lead to discomfort or pain.

Osteopathic treatment works with the joints, muscles, fascia, organs, and craniosacral system to improve movement and support the body’s natural self-regulation mechanisms.

At my practice in Vancouver, osteopathy is used to help relieve pain, improve mobility, and support long-term well-being for patients of all ages.

MY OSTEOPATHIC APPROACH

Each osteopathy session begins with a detailed conversation about your symptoms, lifestyle, and health history so I can understand how your body adapts to tension and movement restrictions.

Through gentle palpatory assessment, I identify areas of reduced mobility and provide treatment adapted specifically to your needs.

Depending on your condition, treatment may include joint mobilization, myofascial release, craniosacral osteopathy, biodynamic approaches, and functional techniques selected to respect your body’s natural rhythm.

Before the end of each session, I take time to explain what I observe and how your body responds to treatment so you feel informed, confident, and supported in your recovery.

My goal is to help you move better, feel better, and restore lasting balance naturally.
